Glad to see SMG 1 and 2 are on the list. Those games are great and everybody should get a chance to play them.

The list seems very fair to be honest, but the one flaw is that this on the basis of reviews upon the games' releases meaning hype could influence this (as pointed out beforehand in this thread). Wondering whether a game like The Last of Us could be a last hoorah and reach the top 10 list but this seems fairly unlikely.

I agree with some of this list. LittleBigPlanet - absolutely. My favourite game this gen pretty much, glad it snuck on the list.

Super Mario Galaxy, I agree as well - I understand why both of them are on the list, but I don't think they should be. SMG2 is infinitely the better game and fixes all the issues I had with the first, but it didn't have the same impact that SMG 1 did when it released. A tricky one to call.

The Orange Box, absolutely. I remember being blown away when I first played Portal, and TF2 has given me hundreds of hours of enjoyment as well. Didn't like HL2 so much but I can see why it gets so much praise.

Onto the others now: GTA4 does not deserve to be top of this list. On it, but not on the top. It's a really solid game, but nowhere near as enjoyable as the 3 that came before it.

Also Skyrim. Good lord, why is Skyrim on this list. Far from the best sandbox game this generation, barely an improvement over Oblivion. Really doesn't deserve to be here.

Games I would have liked to have seen on the list: WipEout HD Fury; Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time; Left 4 Dead 2. They'd make my personal top 10, and although I understand why they're not on here, I could argue a case for each of them if I had to.

I've played GTAIV, LBP, U2 and BioShock from that list.

I disagree with GTAIV and BioShock. LBP... it's not my favourite, but I can understand why it's there. U2, I agree with.

Going down to 94, Halo 3 would be there... Then again, so would Metal Gear Solid 4 *devious face*

Bah. I'd replace GTA4 with Red Dead Redemption and Skyrim with Fallout 3.

GTAIV and Mass Effect 2 shouldn't be there...At least for the 360, IMO.

ME2 had polish, but the story was a huge letdown from ME1. I couldn't bring myself to finish GTAIV, and I bought the thing near launch.

Skyrim is much deserved, and so is Bioshock.

Replace Little Big Planet with Uncharted 3 and its a pretty good top 10 list.

GTA4 is way to high and MArio Galaxy 2 should come down a bit, other than that alright

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker deserves #1. GTA 4 at best is a highs 80s game.
