I lost track on how many new games they introduced!
CoD looks so rough compared to Killzone PSV though. :/

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
So many more announcements, probably due to Gamescom being at a better time in the year, Just before the holidays and all. Cross buy was by far the most exciting for me.
Agreed. E3 was a huge bust and SCEE is by far the best part of sony.
Time for hype
I'm not sure if I was watching the same conference as you.
That was awful. Really, really awful. Especially since Sony conferences are usually good. The Media Molecule paper game was pretty good, I admit. The puppet and rain games could end up decent. Everything else was terrible. They had so little content, they had to bring in EA to talk about FIFA. I always like some Last of Us footage, but it was nothing new or exciting, just regular gameplay with the song from the last trailer.
I guess Cross-buy was a good announcement too. But the gaming side was embarassing.

SCEE has pretty much two studios that haven't been transferred to making casual games or outright shut down: Media Molecule and Guerilla
Media Molecule did show the best game of that conference (Tear Away), and then showed a gimmicky LBP2 DLC.
Guerilla showed a pretty decent looking PSP game.
Now compare those two to the entire American Sony lineup.
It was better than Sonys E3 conference but not better than E3 altogether. But I liked that there was not so much violence going on this time.
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

There's more to it than that. SCEE knows how to promote and hype its products while SCEA has its thumb up its ass.
