Forums - Nintendo - I got destroyed at smash, & made a friend

So, as some of you know, I live in the Fredericton area (Atlantic Canada) and there is nobody here to play smash with. Until today, I actually got in touch with someone on smashboards and the guy is a smash genius.

I mean of all people playing smash, I got my hands on one of the best smash players in Edmonton, he now moved here :)

In the process of getting my ass handed to me, I learnt that it was possible to play Smash online, and he showed me how to do that.

It just so happens that this guy is lots of fun and has a really nice family, they even fed me supper.

I just thought I'd share this fun videogame adventure of mine with you guys. Happy gaming :)

I am happy for you man. Happy gamimg for you too.

It's always easy to make friends with people when they dominate you at a game. It makes them feel better about themselves.

Also, for the record, SSBB is the worst online game in the history of the world. It takes two and a half hours to finish a two minute match.

I was talking about smash 64 though, with barely any lag. :P Apparently it's a troll community so I'm going in timidly.

Smash 64 online?  How does that work?

Better than SSBB, I'm sure.

It's actually surprisingly easy. You get an emulator called Project 64 (the name I don't have right now), and then connect to these only 64 games for any game you want, it could be Mario Kart, Mario Party, anything. And then you connect your 64 to a PC adapter you find online, and you're good to go.

@sensebringer. That's sweet of you. Thanks.

Sounds too much like work.

Wouldn't you rather play GoldenEye online?

On Project 64.  I assume that you would be able to.  Am I wrong?
