2) meh. I don't get worked up over graphics as much. I've had just as much fun with games of every caliber. I just like playing good games, however, very pretty graphics at times can help with that environment depending on the game and its style. But I think wiiu and whatever the rest of the next-gen do will be just fine.

No, since they are ports mostly. They are limited by last gen consoles. Devs can't go all crazy like they could if they were only working with PC+next gen consoles.

@bold. Absolute or relative? APM told me it sometimes happens, and project CARS is one example.

Okay, I get you now. You were referring to the ported PC versions that are restrained by the console offerings of the same game, not the cases where the PC is the main platform. all good

Not only that but CARS is not coming to "last gen" consoles to the best of my knowledge.

It sure is, check the logos at the end of the video. I think they will be watered down.

Does it look better than current gen games? Yes.

Is it my opinion of a MASSIVE leap over the best on PS360? No.

I'm not saying WiiU and the rest of next gen won't have noticeable differences to current gen's best. I'm saying the graphical leap won't be like previous gens and I think Epic is simply being overly generous. Additionally, it comes down to the eyes and detail of the person viewing it.

I don't think the mass market will see massive differences. Especially not at the levels of detail, say, graphics designers would notice.

Nowhere did he say this generational leap was going to be similar to the Batman leap you described. I feel like it should be an offense to twist words to create more eye-catching titles.

Unless of course he said that somewhere in the full article, then please enlighten me.
