Oh noes! How will I ever manage to get by without EA support on my Wii U?? Oh that's right, easilly, because EA games suck.

Mass effect, Battlefield The one I played was good..., FIFA Very boring IMO, Dead Space #3 looks kinda suckish, Mirror's Edge, Burnout Boring..., The Sims Has runned it's time, now it's just boring (IMO), Crysis and Skate Never played it but if it's skating then it automatically sucks in my book all suck?

So... for me, only two so far have impressed me. (Going to play ME when I get the Wii U.)

All minority opinions, and some silly ones on Skate and FIFA. Objectively speaking these are quality games with mostly large fan bases and critical acclaim to prove it.

Why do you have to use the word quality, it sounds so silly when talking about games, is monopoly a "quality" game? What about chess? Is Badmington a quality sport? Objectively, they were really hyped, sold a lot in their first weeks, and after that, forgotten, except Mass Effect and Battlefield which are allright, I guess.

Quality = Of good quality, I think it may just be an english thing. Mass effect and Battlefield sell extremely well and always get great scores, I think all the MEs are above 90 on metacritic... BF3 has a big community on all 3 platforms... millions play FIFA regularly and it's as popular as COD where I'm from.

All of these games apart from Mirrors Edge and maybe the first Skate do very well critically and commercially, and people still play and talk about many of them so I don't know why you think they're "forgotten." Maybe you have forgotten them. The sentence following "objectively" in your post wasn't objective.

Almost all Sport Games are plain stupid in my opinion.

So it's not silly, just my opinion.

I feel like you're kind of missing the point, Pie.  I could go game-by-game and say where I disagree with you (definitely on Burnout and Skate), but that's not really what he's getting at.  I too hate Fifa games and don't buy into them.  But Fifa alone is a huge franchise in Europe and helps keep PS3 chugging along over here.  I'd wager it has helped move some serious hardware in its time and if not - at the very least - it's helped keep people interested in the console.

Basically, there's nothing to be lost by having their games on the system.  A lot of EA franchises are still big sellers which get a lot of critical & commercial attention regardless of everybody's personal feelings on them.  And while I don't think Nintendo should be badgering to EA's every whim to get the games on Wii-U (properly), if they're advertising it as a console to help win the HD crowd from Sony/Microsoft, it's gonna hurt a bit if all the games they're getting are half-arsed.

Dont take it too seriously. Its more of that "Well, I didnt want it anyway so NAH" attitude. The same attitued that little kids have sometimes.

Im not buying it, not because i dont think EA wouldnt do something like this, but why JUST Nintendo? Why not, Sony and MS?? Why werent they approached about Origin? If it is by some chance true, then good on Ninty, this would have been a crap deal that would have gained them little is anything at all.

you do know about their previous dealings with Sega, right?

enlighten me, but im still not buying it. Its a rumor, it'll wait for confirmation. But if some people want to be conspiracy theorist, then go for it.

which games are really developed by EA?
i mean isnt EA mostly a publisher?

When discussing development for the Dreamcast, EA demanded that their sports games would be the only sports games on the system (instead of Sega Sports' 2K Sports label), which Sega said no to, so EA just refused to develop for the platform altogether. It was part of what helped give PS2 the advantage it had coming in, though by no means was the biggest factor going against the Dreamcast at the time.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

And it's a silly opinion dude :P

Why are almost all sport games stupid?

I find them boring. A lot of them are just running back and forth using the analog stick, there's nothing fun about them really.

It's not silly, it's an opinion.

I wasn't missing the point. I was just stating my opinion.
