What kind of Bears fan are you?   My eyes really did tear up after that play due to laughter.

Seriously though, it won't be as funny when this happens to the Bears.

Oh don't mistake it, I'm happy GB lost. Those cheesy bastards can go to hell.

However, every week so far there have been calls after calls that are so blatantly wrong and f'ed up its unbelievable. Its going to happen to Bears any time now. Probably next MNF. However, I'm not going to witness it as I'll be #boycottNFL .

EVERY fan needs to see the real refs return. The game is being ruined by horrible calls and complete stupidity.

It was a catch.  The play was reviewed as all touchdowns are.  There is no way the officials could have gotten it wrong looking at it in a slow motion instant replay, could they?

Ruling on the field became a simultaneous catch. That's non-reviewable. The only thing that can be reviewed is whether the catch was completed, i.e. in bounds + didn't hit the turf.

Also: really amp? I know eyesite goes with age and all, but c'mon!

My eyes see that you posted this twice.

Seriously though, let's hope that the refs get the money that they want soon.

I can't believe what I just saw. Golden Tate made the most unbelievable, improbable, miracle of a catch in the history of the NFL. My eyes welled up with tears from the overwhelming emotion that came over me after this play.

I am trying to believe you that it was a catch, I really am.

What I am wondering is, does possession count while in the air? What did the refs see that we didn't? So many questions I have, and hopefully we can be shed light on it soon.

Me too.  This game didn't help.  Maybe we should throw all of our weeks out now.

Only four people attained a positive record in the prediction league this week, three more have an even record. I think I am going to move up in the overall standings despite a negative record this week. Mindboggling.

Going to tally up everything now and getting the Week 3 standings up.

I'm not going to cry since we all are at the same disadvantage, but I wonder what my record would be if these were actually called the way that they should have been.  As much as I despise the Packers, it would be pretty lousy if they miss the playoffs by a game because of what we just saw.  I honestly really have never seen a call that bad.

The sideline ref is awesome. We need to keep up this for lulz all season.

I will say though that the jokes this has spawned make it totally worth the L.

This is also pretty delicious:

http://www.businessinsider.com/lingerie-football-league-fired-nfl-refs-2012-9

"Players, fans and the media alike are freaking out over the controversial end of the Monday Night Football game between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks.

Now, Jack Dickey at Deadspin has a spectacular little detail about some of the NFL replacement refs.

The Lingerie Football League, which earlier wouldn't offer a comment about a ref who was supposedly fired by the women's league, has something to tell NFL fans.

Here's the statement that the LFL gave to Deadspin (emphasis ours):

Because of the LFL's perception it is that much more critical for us to hire officiating crews that are competent, not only for the credibility of our game but to keep our athletes safer. Due to several on-field incompetent officiating we chose to part ways with with a couple crews which apparently are now officiating in the NFL. We have a lot of respect for our officials but we felt the officiating was not in line with our expectations.

We have not made public comment to date because we felt it was not our place to do so. However in light of tonight's event, we felt it was only fair that NFL fans knew the truth as to who are officiating these games.

Oof, Commissioner Goodell."

I kind of hope it's not actually true, though.

I should start watching the Lingerie Football League since it has more competent officials.

It should be apparently blinding true that the refs in NFL are largely incompetent right now. I'm positive they were fired from everywhere else and are working for free game tickets.

(I just found my new avatar)

Wasn't one of the refs asking help for fantasy football? Another was a saints fan too.... What makes me laugh was that the NFL issued a warning to all teams to "treat these officials with respect". Well, they can't help it at this rate.
