Forums - Sports - The NFL Thread 2012: Baltimore Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII

Who will win the Super Bowl? Part II

Denver Broncos 24 18.75%

New England Patriots 14 10.94%

Houston Texans 1 0.78%

Baltimore Ravens 29 22.66%

Glasgow Rangers 3 2.34%

Atlanta Falcons 4 3.13%

San Francisco 49ers 29 22.66%

Green Bay Packers 4 3.13%

Seattle Seahawks 6 4.69%

I am a wuss, but I want to see the results. 12 9.38%

Total:126

Now that the first week is pretty much over. The Raider vs the Chargers looks like its going to be a ugly game I have to say that the Ravens and the Texans looked very good I think that either team has a good change of making it to the Super Bowl and winning it all.

I hope Baltimore and San Diego don't let me down tonight, otherwise my goal of having a positive record in each week all season long goes down the toilet in Week 1 already.

Updated the second post in this thread with the Week 2 games.

Thanks for putting in your thoughts on GB CHI game too. Lol

One thing is for sure, the the Raiders and Chargers looked like a special Olympics game tonight. Oakland made the Chargers look good.

Hey Rol, the new subtitle of the thread should be , ""Green Bay loses first home game in 14-16 games."

good job rol, shouldn't i be .625 with the other 10-6 rather than .563 with 9-7 on week 1 standings,
it might be as high as i get

ravens and the san diego got it then,i know it probably won't happen but it would be nice on a wednesday or something if someone could point out for the european that say a major player/QB for a team has been put in jail or something and won't be playing this week

LOL at you putting me down to pick the Packers, Rol. I demand that you author that "Why the PS Vita will start selling" thread if the Bears defeat them.

Stupid Raiders kept screwing up on special teams because they can't handle playing on a baseball diamond. I blame the Oakland A's for their loss.

Also, did anyone hear that Joe Flacco is now demanding that he deserves to be called an elite QB now?

Credit accepted!

And Flacco's been claiming to be elite for a while now. I believe he reiterated this offseason that he was "the best" QB in the league. I understand the rationale, but the mental gymnastics he has to go through to arrive at that conclusion are medal-worthy.

Clearly Flacco likes to surround himself with individuals that make him feel big.

She almost doesn't even have to get on her knees.
