Damn its not even close I had no idea that Christian Ponder wouldn't play. |
I felt really, really bad for Webb. Most of his passes made Tebow look good, and I'm not saying that as a joke.

He still ended up with a better qb rating then Andy Dalton. The game would have been a lot closer if Ponder would have played. Minnesota still has a very good team and should be so for many more years.
| RolStoppable said: Booyah! The Packers won a boring game. I don't think Ponder's absence was much of a factor, because it was always about stopping Peterson. Minnesota's pass game only works, if Peterson can run. He couldn't tonight, so it didn't matter much who played on the QB position. The Vikings would have been more competitive with Ponder, but I think the Packers played well enough tonight to win either way. |
Peterson still had a decent game and he is still the best running back in the league by a mile.

Further evidence that that's a garbage stat. Unless Dalton was atrociously bad out there (didn't get to see much of that game...but I really, really doubt he was worse than Webb).
I was torn between delight and horror when Webb did that the first time. It was just sadness when he tried it again the second time.

Yeah for the most part qb rating is pretty useless stat. The only reason Webb had a higher rating is because he threw for a touchdown.
aren't we going to put the forecasts up or are people still allowed to change, its a bit more exciting if we can see everyones match ups don't you think and not just you, maybe once you have predicted for the post season you can't change for the games

But Rol, Webb was so horrible that he made Ponder look like a Pro Bowler. The Packers constantly put 10 men in the box and often left receivers open because they knew that Webb wouldn't hit them. I'm sorry, but that game would have been at least a TD closer if Ponder had played. What I'm saying is that the Pack did not look much better than they did the week before...

well that's right if people can still change then we shouldn't see,it's just not that exciting while the games are going on regarding our game, but i guess as long as we get to see for the last game it's something
I understand where you're coming from and I do think that the offense looked better, but I think that they stopped the run because they knew that the passing game posed no threat at all. They will have a tougher game next which they can win, but they'll have to play a whole lot better to do so.
