Damn if Calvin "Megatron" Johnson would be on a winning team he pretty much would have wrapped up the MVP trophy yesterday he pretty much destroyed the record for most receiving yards in a season with one game to go.

He might have, though there are too many good choices no matter what. I do not think a non-qb has won the award in 6 years and there are tons of qbs with good enough records they could win it. I can remember when Jerry Rice made the previous record and the announcers called it a record that will never be broken. Well, the game changed and he has done an incredible thing. Though most of his seasons were only on good to bad teams. Hell, the Detroit crowd did not even get too excited.

On another note, if the Texans lose to Luck and the Colts in Indy Denver is the number one seed. I am so excited for next week and even the Seahawks-49ers.

Rice did it in 1995. During the game they were talking to him on the phone as well. They probably would have invited him to the game, but I don't think many people were expecting him to have that many yards and break the record during that game. The last game seemed more probable. Now it looks like he'll break the 2000 yard mark.

Rice played in the era where defense was more hard noised and quarterbacks threw the ball less and relied more on the run game. So to me it is more impressive what Rice did. Slightly.

Yeah, I saw it as I was sort of paying attention while I did other things last night. It should happen as Stafford seems like his main goal is to get it it too Calvin every chance he gone. It is increadible how Johnson has made so many plays under double coverage. He should come to Denver next year.

Good game by the Seahawks today. Looks like the series will be 1-1 for the regular season. That really is the "12th man" over there. Bad start for the 49ers really put them in the hole and that blocked punt/touchdown return. Davis goes down, Manningham goes down and fumbles. Niners will have to step it up next week against Arizona to take the NFC West.

It'll be nice if Minnesota plays well again next week against Green Bay.

Wow, Seahawks murdered the 49ers. The Seahawks have scored 150 points in the last 3 games, that's one dangerous team. Next week, is going to be very interesting. Cowboys vs. Redskins for the NFC East is easily the game of the week.

I said it earlier in this thread that the seahawks will go to the NFC championship.

Lol,on hopefully getting the bye week. If this ends up like last year where the top seed has to pick for a certain game, I might bail if I have to take any AFC team other than Broncos.

Also, Seahawks are finally getting media attention. I swear sometimes they seem like the most ignored team in the league that actually plays well. I really do not understand it completely as Green Bay and Denver who are amongst the smaller markets like Seattle generally do not get ignored when they are good. Hell. by the numbers if Russel Wilson was on the Redskins and Robert Griffen the III was on the Colts or Seahawks I suspect RG3 would not be front runner for rookie of the year. Wilson would probably be front runner.

Andrew Luck shouldn't even be in discussion for the rookie of year. Give his stats to RG3 or Wilson and would anyone even be talking about him? He is the 31st rated QB in the league and he has more turn overs than RG3 and Russell Wilson combined.

Tough games, divisional games are always tough to win. I just want the Texans to win and I'll be good for New Year's.

Week 16

blah-

...failure of hatmoza to submit any picks and good weeks for everyone else involved. This would reduce the playoff spots to 14 and drop the person in question to #15. But as long as both arcane_chaos and hatmoza show up for Week 17 (the only two people who are on the brink of not being eligible for the playoffs), then everyone in the top 16 will be in.

must resist the urge to troll arcane_chaos.
