I find it odd that he wasn't aleady the 3rd string QB.  This makes me think that they were only carrying 2 QBs.  That can't be right, can it?

I don't hate the Texans or even dislike them (it's not like they are the dirtiest team of all time like the Packer followed closely by the Lions), but I did make fun of Arian Foster's bow ties and what's up with that stupid TD celebration that he does?

The Texans knocked Cutler out of the game with a dirty hit. If they didn't, the Bears would have won. But I guess it's okay, because Houston is still a relatively new team.

I don't think the hit was intended to be dirty.  Sometimes when two guys are moving at high speed, heads collide.  It's not like the play where Suh tried to actually break his neck a cuple of weeks ago.  Also, who knows if they would have won or not.  THE TEAM played like crap.

You tell 'em amp, injuries are part of the game. In my opinion, I think the Texans would have won by an even bigger margin if Cutler played the second half, but, who knows.

at the beginning of the houston v chicago game they said these two teams could be the superbowl but even with my limited capacity i've seen chicago twice and they just don't score when i think they should on drive after drive, but they have only been on my telly twice

on a side note too the BBC game i get on a monday was a blessing with no presenters and a stadium feed and now for the pittsburgh game they have got two idiots in the smallest studio in the world blithering on about nothing while i could be watching the stadium and crowd live, what a waste of my licence money paying idiots to jabber on about nothing

So-called experts are usually all over teams with high winning records, completely ignoring how these records came to be. Houston and Chicago are good teams, no doubt, but they aren't infallible. Although Houston is definitely a better candidate for the Super Bowl, because the AFC is clearly the weaker conference this season.

Also, Chicago is the team in the league that scores the most points on defense by far (meaning they return fumbles and interceptions for touchdowns). If the offense is on their own, the team isn't capable of driving the score up. Much of Chicago's success this season is owed to the defense which either returned turnovers for points or got their offense into good field position through turnovers.

I actually agree with all of this.  The Bears need to get their offense going or they will be in big trouble come playoff time.  They are a good team, but you can't consistently beat playoff caliber teams while depending on your defense.

I am going to hold off on my picks for a little while so I can figure out which teams QBs are and aren't playing.

Although, that Chicago prediction is determined on Cutler returning. If he doesn't, then SF will win.

So I was surprised to hear cutler has had 5 concussions since college and is very likely not to play, as concussions get worse the more you have. This is potentially a big lose to the Bears. Still Cutler threw 2 interceptions last game and was slightly out performed by his replacement in both completions and points scored.

I pick Miami this week.

I do not remember a season since the late ninties early 00s were the broncos  were easily winning the AFC West. This is a habit that must continue.

With the Bears' O-line, I'm surprised it's only five.

Haha... A packers fan ishould not be one to talk of a bad O-line. I think Rodgers had 29 sacks on him, close to number one. And the most embarrasing self sack of the year!

On the contrary, Packers fans are extremely qualified to talk about bad o-lines.
