I don't think you undestand what a watered down console port is. Please do tell me an example of a watered down port.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

I agree. UC, COD and AC aren't ports. And UC:GA is a more than honoroble addition to the series, so if COD and AC follow suit they'll do well. We should be getting announcements at Gamescom and TGS. A GTA, GT or any new IP have great system selling potential.

I still don't get. Maybe I'm abnormal or something becuase to me the lineup is good enough. In fact, better than 3DS 2011 line up.

It will have two of the biggest brands this holiday: COD and AC, spinoffs, but they will be there. We cannot predict the performance of both titles. Maybe won't be as big as 3DS, but not as low as dead.

He dosn't have one, every vita "port" i've played has been better than it's console verison with extras and free DLC. Gasp, and most of the time we get the vita version for free!

I think that AC could do well on the Vita. But CoD may not be as big as some would think, unless things have drastically changed for Sony since the PSP days.

Dual analogs and potentially on-par with console quality graphics and multiplayer means it has a lot more going for it than COD on PSP ever did. But I agree that it won't be as big as some people think. 2.5 million lifetime is my prediction, maybe a little higher, maybe a little lower, and that's assuming it'll be good.

So you picked a game that most scored better than the console version? That had all the dlc and extras ? Using graphics as your sole argument? Smooth move.

How it performs with those games will be... interresting

I LOVE ICELAND!

Did you even read the whole thing?

"Edit: Giving it a bit more thought, I do have to admit that calling the developers lazy might be a bit of an over-reaction.  Content wise it is all there and more, with an expansive suite of extra content.  If you were talking purely content and mechanics it is a fantastic port, and in that context I praise the game.  But that's only one part of the equation, and the purpose of this article was to address the issues and concerns with the visuals of this port, which are decidedly below par.  If Ed Boon, or someone else associated with NetherRealm comes out and says something to the effect of, "We tried our best, and while a 60 frame per second game was our key goal, the graphics were below our and the Vita's standards.  Unfortunately this is not a case of us not putting enough effort into the port, but the inherent issues with being a third party developer, working on Unreal Engine 3 for a new platform." I would be more willing to give them a bit of a pass.  Though in my eyes it still doesn't excuse the marketing."
