1.5 isn't really "brilliant" for a Sonic game. It's somewhat higher wit hthe PC sales, but for Sonic that's still pretty anemic.

Of course that whole ocnversation is brutally off-topic

To be on-topic:

The Genesis games on the Virtual Console, huh-doy.

And Sonic Adventure 2 battle. At least one third everything except the driving levels was was excellent.

I never understood this.  Was Wii supposed to just get Colours instead?  I mean, I enjoyed Colours, but I thought based on that already-established fanbase, Generations would have been an easy choice for the console.

The engine used in Generations is different than the one in Colors. It is more advanced as it was made with the HDS and PC in mind. The WIi simply couldnt run it, this has been known for some time. Now why they just didnt make a Wii version by itself ala 3DS version, i can only guess that didnt feel like it

Sonic Adventure 2 battle for GC is the best Sonic game I've ever played. No idea why they never made an Adventure 3. After Sonic Heroes I quit playing Sonic games. lol

Generations looks good but I'm not sure if I should get it.

Yes we have

and no Im still not 100% sure that the Wii version would have outsold it. Rayman Origins didnt and that was a game that was favored to sell best on Wii, but again we will never know


But when did Origins come out compared to Generations? 340,000 is still pretty good. Even if the Wii version of Generations did not sell as well, it still would have given them plenty of sales and profit. But I think there is a pretty good change that it would have.

Origins came out after Generations, but im not sure why its sales would have anything to do with the other. I think its actually a crappy number considering the amount of Rayman games released on the system prior. Even if the Wii version did not sell well?? Funny you could say the same thing about Colors not being on PS360/PC but if memory serves correctly I didnt recall you protest that one.

The best is definitely Sonic Colors. It's my favorite 3D Sonic game ever.

How underrated it really is.

I also like Sonic heroes. The structure is what i think is ideal for a 3D sonic game, just the team gameplay is unecessary. Just give us 1 character to play at a time.
