ellen feis is the primary reason i bought a mac.  these ads do nothing to inspire..

I saw the ads while watching the Olympics too, and it was in primetime ...

Since the Youtube channel that shows the adds is not direcetly owned by Apple I guess they have no clue how terrible their own adds are.  But don't big companies usually do market research before they launch a new add campaign I guess Apple didn't do their homework.

When companies are as successful as Apple is their management can become arogant, and may believe that they know "better" than anyone else (including their customers). From what I have seen, when this happens the company tends to self destruct rather rapidly ...

True they where on the brink of bankruptcy already once after their first boom so it could happen again if they stay to agrogant.  Also checked the videos are also on the offical Apple Youtube page and their they get mostly positive reviews.  I guess they only did market research with Apple fans before they launched these adds.
