you went through all the effort of writing this, then dont post me the links to them, was it realy hard to go back 3 or 4 sites? full time job and a family means im tight for time....

If you're planning to build one take a look at this:

http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/buyers-guide/2012/05/18/pc-hardware-buyer-s-guide-may-2012

This guide is a bit old and the PC costs a bit more than your budget, and doesn't include OS, but you can use it as a starting point.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Indeed, that would be a good system. Since the price range is right about $700 (assuming 1 British pound = 1.57 American dollars) this leaves him with a little bit for the other stuff, though.
