It's easy to make them more interesting, all you have to do is pug Titan Ex or do duty finder then it's like a new game all over again because people are fucking pro in Darklight and don't even know what the super bomb phase looks like, ever.

There is a number of activaties that helps with leveling up, and while leveling up more quest are unlocked.

FATE, Hunting log, Instance Dungeons, Guildhest, Guildleve, Main storyline, PvP, Beastmen Tribe dailies.

SE made it this way for when you reach a certain level they want you to experience whats it like to party in groups in dungeon raids. Also you get access to Limit Break ability in light and full party only.

Hey guys, one of the complaints users are having in FFXIV beta is about the UI HUD size. Well, this is a feature that was over looked by new users.. (And myself. lol)

Can switch size in 5 stages in the range of 60% to 140% of normal size of each HUD UI element. Yes, PS Vita, PS4, PS3 has this functionality too!

Using the PS Vita, press the Start button to open the main menu and navigate to the "System" menu and select "HUD Layout"!

Select the part of the HUD you want to make larger...

And using the rear touch pad of the PS Vita, press the bottom right area.

Doing that will let you shrink and increase the size of the selected user interface element from 60% its original size to up to 140%!

You can do the same on the PS3 and Windows versions, too!
In controller mode, press the R3 button to change the HUD size.
In keyboard/mouse mode, press Ctrl+Home to change the size.

Being playing the ps4 beta and i totally loving the game. There alot of things to do and i like the fact it actually has a story and its an interesting one. It has a final fantasy esque story which is always good. In terms of the visuals,, its nice but you can detect alot of low res textures . Guessing its because its in beta. Plus theres abit of slowdown from time to time but its not frequent. Navigating the menus and entering commands using the controlled is a synch. Its quite clear that SE put alot thought on how to map the buttons on the controller without making it inconvenient. The touch pad to has surprisingly good use to it. Its acts as a laptop mouse pad . Its surprisingly responsive and makes accepting quests quick and easy. I am already level 20 for gladiator and i am going to try other classes while the beta is still on for free heheh.

Yeap... everything is in 140% but even so the text continue small and unreadable... they need to fix that... there is no option to change the size os Text menus and NPD dialogs.

PS3 output in 720p... so no issue at all... PS4 in 720p is fine too but 1080p is terrible.

Lulz. I was temp-banned from the XIV forums for calling a moderator out on an unfair thread deletion in another thread. They only deleted the thread because it made them look bad. However, what that mod doesn't realize is that a ban from their forum is more like a reward than a punishment.

Patch 2.2 is scheduled to come out in March continuing the storyline and reoccurring summons Gilgamesh and Leviathan will be added. Leviathan is a primal summoned by the Sahagin tribe.
