Had them when I was about 7. Only had it very mildly and it never really bothered me.

18 years old and never had it. I've heard it gets worse the older you are when you first get it. Is that true? |
I don't think anybody in the world has had chicken pox 5 times. Most people are immune to it after they get it once.
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
I had it when I was in kindergarten..I BROKE OUT!!! there wasn't an inch of me that wasn't covered with chicken pox..I was out of school for nearly 2 weeks.
Had it when I was really young and have a scar from it by my belly button but you can hardly notice it.
Don't think i had fun either

Chickenpox is for wusses, I had smallpox. I still use the microscope photo of my infected bloodstream as my avatar.
never had it, I am 29 almost.
It does get worst with age. Hence when I have kids and they get it, they will be quranteened to a tent in the backyard.
Over here pretty much everyone gets them as a child. I didn't. I waited until I was 34, which turned out to be a very bad decision.
For about 3-5 days I suffered so badly, it was sheer horror. I never felt so sick in my whole life. And my whole body, especially my face, looked just ridiculous, the doctors could hardly believe it was just normal chicken pox.
Luckily, after 3-5 absolutely horrible days, I quickly felt a lot better. But it took several weeks until people were no longer staring at me, and months until I looked almost normal again.
So yes, from my experience, it really is a lot worse when you're older.
