Forums - Nintendo - Market Analysis: Nintendo Earnings Preview by somebody we know

Hi guys, I realize this is late, but here is an interesting article. It outlines a preview for the earnings we got, and a forecast of the upcoming performance of Nintendo's products. Interesting enough, it doesn't sound too biased and puts emphasis on numbers.

Are you surprised by who wrote this news piece too?

No it does not surprise me. He is reporting on Nintendo still being in a hole. That is just his cup of tea.

Damned traffic!

True, but his skepticism was balanced compared to his usual trolling self. Also, he just stated his predictions without being all grotesque about it. He stated his reasons, stated his predictions and left it at that. No bashing, no going over the top.

It was nice to read this side of him.

Like the nice side of a sociopathic liar!

lol why do u call Mr Patcher a lier? He's cool.

Everyone forgets that fiscal guidance is Pachter's ACTUAL job.

The things that people rag on him for have nothing to do with his employment at Wedbush Morgan. He simply says such things for gamers that have interest in the business side. When it comes to Pachter's financial outlooks for publicly traded companies, he's arguably the best in the business.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

When was the last time an interviewer asked Pachter about the EPS of Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo or EA?

It's not about the EPS. It's about his forecast of Nintendo's performance and his PoV on Nintendo decisions.

I saw this on my iPod a few ddays ago, when I saw who wrote the article after I was done, I was flabbergasted!!! To think this man actually has a professional side without "over-guessing"...

This is the very first piece of article I actually found satisfied to read. If he continues like this, I can actually give him my respects.
