1. Well now your just playing on semantics. Since this is a game, you could say that we are all acting. But yeah town would just want to be themselves or more likely act like detectives to try and figure out who is Mafia/Possessed and Scum would want to act like Town while trying to trick Town into lynching their own.
2. It's not a joke that the Kardashian show has gotten really bad. But yes. My two votes I have layed down have little meaning, since neither of them have said enough to build much of an argument yet.
