Motoheroz didn't get that much coverage at all and it was barely mentioned on these forums. However, it might have gotten too much coverage for you. It is a bad ass and very fun WW game though... I suggest everyone to buy it.

I would rather leave appraisles to the judge of the viewers though. I was hoping this would be group effort of identifying good games that completely fell under the radar making it easier for other people to get more use out of there Wii in its dying months, but it seems everyone wants to use it as a platofrm to shout the praises of all of the big name games that they don't think were as popular as they should have been.

Not so much bitterness... It just seems like you have tough standards and I was thinking I was going to get shot down. You are right about some of the games people listed as being well known for users on this site ( Muramasa The Demon Blade). However, I never even heard of that game till there was a best Wii 3rd party thread. So some games might seem well known but the general Wii population has no clue of it.  A good example would be Little King's Story.  That game has been mentioned a decent amount of times on this site yet I am sure most Wii owners never even heard of it.

As you can see all about the same as Dewy's Adventure or less.   Some others I listed were higher (30's) but none extremely well covered.  I guess you didn't realize Dewy was marketed and covered in it's day.  So was the original Kororinpa (39 reviews!)

10 reviews for a Wiiware title is actually quite a lot making Onslaught and Art of Balance high as far as wiiware goes.  Most WW titles have no Metacritic review score because there's not even four reviews (often not even one)

I understand that perfectly well. What I'm looking for, however, is not as simple as that. I'm not simply looking for a game that people don't think enough people have heard of.

I look for games that got next to no publicity or hype at all. Nobody missed them because there was no real coverage to be missed. Games that people look over.

There was an enormous following for Murasama. It was a major title. People simply didn't buy it when it finally came out. That is a different thing than what I had in mind.

I'm looking for games like Increadible Crsis on the PSX, the original Katamari Demacy on the PS2 and Cubivore on the Gamecube. Those are popular now thanks to retroviewers but for the longest time, people just gazed over them on shelves like another piece of Shovelware when they first came out. The had no hype, no major game news coverage, no big reviews or anything of the sort.

Other than Sakura Wars, Ghostsbusters and Prince of Percia, that is a great list.

The number of reviews doesn't really factor into what i"m looking for.  Anyone can do a review and that would add to the number. Were they front page reviews? Were they mostly big name reviewers? Were the games promoted before or after? Was there a lot of chatter amongst people about the games?

I'm looking at a lot of things. Primarily, the promotion and attention that average users gave it around the internet.

The two main factors are publicity and Wii owner recognition.
