I'd say it's an even tie between Lost Odyssey and Xenoblade. Just depends on personal preference. You either prefer vast open-world exploration or traditional, linear, and turn-based. Both can be amazing, just in different ways.

Where are Oblivion and Dark Souls? Oh, I see that you want to push these votes to Skyrim and Dark Souls, but they are different games, like FFXIII and FF XIII-2...
My vote would be to Oblivion (PS3), my first american RPG and it made me buy an XBox1, just to try other western rpgs
