As good as... Can't remember if there were 6 or 7 areas but I had big trouble already with the third. And after I read on the PS Trophy guide site how hardcore trophy hunters had to put days if not weeks into the last area, I decided to give up. The last challenge area is like the last boss fight in the campaign on hard but like 5 times more difficult.

Have you tried it?

I got 1000 points for my gamerscore off of that game - it's 6 challenges. THey are very hard.

God Hard mode is much harder, though, form what I've played.

 I have watched a few YT videos of the challenges but you know what? I get depressed from watching them because those guys are so fast. Yes, they give valuable tips but they essentially prove to me that I don't have a realistic chance. Perhaps if I put weeks into beating them but not in a reasonable amount of time.

This Plat is just so much harder than Demon's/Dark Souls. Which I appreciate, but I believe it's out of my league.

Really? Huh. Maybe I should go back and give Dark Souls a real shot, then.

But yeah, Challenge 6 is the hardest thing I've done this gen, by far. I kind of hope Revengeance has some secret optional stuff like it.

Yeah, there's a reason why Vanquish is rated as a 9 in difficulty for the Plat by the majority of voters over at ps3trophies (and the guide maker put it at 9.5). Meanwhile Dark Souls got a 7, probably because it's so grind friendly after all. It would be like cheating but I wish Vanquish allowed you to grind to be able to beat the bogeys in challenge 6.

Speaking of Dark Souls, wrong thread and all but please tell me what you think of it and your amount of time put into it etc (same with Demon's Souls). I want to know why you don't love that game as much as the rest of us do.
