I would guess $179. Hopefully this would prompt those people from Microsoft to cut their prices.

If they can create a demand, that's great business. I set the price at $129.99 because it's 234GB less than 250GB. After all, isn't a redesign due to cheaper manufacturing costs? I will, however, meet you halfway and hope to see 16GB PS3 at $149.99 at least.

Yep, maybe $130 is too low, but without a HDD, just a cheap 16GB flash memory, and redesigned cheaper HW (true slim also allows to lower warehousing and shipping costs), $150 should be enough to not start losing money again on HW.

I got the 100 something model. that's way more memory,then I need. I play a fair amount of games,but not close to enough games,to run out of that much memory.

Well if ps3 price lowers probably more people will buy it. With halo 4 console at $400 vs rumoured ps3 price cut $150, people will probably choose the cheaper option.

How did anything bite the dust? Last I checked the holidays were still a few months away. Not to mention this was a rumor that I did not start so even if it doesn't happen I don't know why its on me.
