What does that have to do with anything?

Fracking is a newly utilized drilling method that has opened up the hydrocarbon market in a lot of areas.

It's controversial because the enviromental effects aren't fully known.

I've never heard of that!

Last time I was up in Ohio (a month or so ago) it looked horrible! There was like no jobs and many poor areas. (Especially Dayton/Cincinnati.)

The south is pretty nice I think. Mostly rural and religious communities though. The cities in the north east have always been violent. Youngstown used to be the place where mobs in Pittsburgh and Cleveland came to fight and now its basically urban gangs killing each other over nothing. Plus a lot of drug trade.

Compaired to Florida?

No way.   Using 2006 data... Florda was 4th in Violent Crime Per Capita.    Ohio was 27th.

As for Youngstown, it got that knickname primarily because well... it was a Mob haven for a while.  Mob everywhere.

Well then I still don't know how Ohio is above one of the Tourist Capitals of the Nation.

Kasich has made business a strong priority and we've also gone a blue collar boom with fracking and the related fields.
