Lair isn't shovelware.  It's a horrid game but shovelware refers to games slapped together overnight with the intention of making a quick buck by investing as little as possible and coasting off of a popular system's success.

Shovelware is any game that is so crap that you litterally dont want to touch it, and use a shovel to place it in the bin outside.  In fact, you don't even want it in your bin, so you sneak next door and put it in your neighbours bin.  But then as you sit on your couch to play a good game, you become uneasy; your neighbours bin is still far to close too you.  Once more retrieving your shovel, you spoon the title into a large, stink-resistant envelope, which you have labelled "Mars."  You then forward the envelope to NASA.....

Lair isn't shovelware. It is a pretty shitty game, but it wasn't supposed to be. It just suffered from horrid controls, and repetitive missions. Shovelware is just quickly putting together a game you want to sell and not even trying. Factor 5 tried very hard with lair.

OT: Once the Wii gets more quality titles, this argument will go away, but with SSBB being pushed back, don't expect that anytime soon.

Atleast lair is a quality title compared to ur consoles games.

Stop the PS3-bashing guys. It's not about if a game is good or bad or fun, it's about how much do they cost to make. Nothing on PS3 is shovelware, get it? ;>
