PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

i don't get why people are still going on about B/C tbh.. just buy a PS2 slim and play on that for like £30

You know that's not possible right? Firmware can't create PS2 compatability, they need the emotion chip. Only an emulator would allow it, but I don't think they are going to go that route. It does seem they are stalling on porting PS2 games over so they must be planning something. How much does the emotion chip cost now? Maybe they figured out an effective way to include it. Imagine the sales if it is backwards compatible. Removing it during the redesign was probably out of neccessity, with this one it might be on the table.



Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

sales wont change if its b/c or not.. the general public really dont care lol its only forum complainers

I wouldn't say grudging. Perhaps he doesn't like that many games for the ps3 and has a ton of ps2 games lying around.

They just cant bring PS2 compatibility through firmware update cuz 20GB/60GB PS3 HAD a PS2 hardware inside. They can emulate PS2? Yes, but probably will not, cuz HD ports/collection are probably more rentable than just releasing an emulator.
