I've heard this show is predictable and repetitive. I'll probably end up watching it eventually but for the moment I've been watching Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead

Why is Deb so hot this season? I think she gained a little weight in a good way

1-4 and some of last season are great. Off and on in season 5 as well. Still better than most shows even when it is bad.

Well she runs on the treadmill enough to be nice and fit for us! |
Yeah I'll have to check it out man :)
This episode was great. It felt like the show has really fixed its problems and it feels more like season 1 and 2 and I love that. Can't wait to watch the rest of the season.
Dexter has been one of my favorite shows for a long time, but the more I watch it, the more I feel I'm being insulted. I mean, the characters are well written, the stories superb, and the acting top notch, but every episode has yet another "oh my god how is he going to get out of this" moment that ends up being solved by some incredibly convenient plot device or something, and my willing suspension of disbelief is being stretched farther than I'm comfortable.
While the other characters are all well written, they all have one fatal flaw: they're all absolutely retarded. Given that Dexter constantly checks out criminals BEFORE they miraculously disappear...wouldn't that arouse at least SOME suspicion? there's been plenty of moments where there's no way people wouldn't connect the dots, yet they don't. Plenty of instances (like when Deb saw him) that should have resulted in an arrest regardless, yet he ends up 'accidentally' befriending these people? Oh, there's this girl in a self help group who likes to kill too? awesome? the local DA also wants to kill people? how convenient. this girl who was about to be murdered by a serial killer just so happens to feel for Dexter in spite of the fact that he's actually not much better than the people who were going to rape and murder her?
Too many leaps in logic. I'm glad they're bringing it to a close.

I hope he kills his step sister since I never really liked her. She is an alright character but I find her a little annoying. I stopped watching after his wife was killed. I forget which season that was. My only hope is that they end the series and put it back up on Netflix.
