Forums - Microsoft - Banned for using a Demo??

Idk I would not think you would get banned by using the demo. Their is probably more ways to get the demo then just dragons dogma.

Didn't happen to me with the RE5 demo, which was japan only. PM me the link please??

If you're that worried just unplug your internets.

Does that happen often? People getting banned for playing demos.

wow, read the article before posting, this is just spamming to up your post count (for whatever reason you want to do that for)

I doubt it, unless it was like a private halo 4 beta.

feel free to pm the link to me if you can :)

I know that modifying your Xbox or your Xbox controllers (such as the rapid fire mod) can get you banned, but obviously that can't happen as long as you are not signed in to Xbox Live. And as long as you're playing that demo, being completely signed out shouldn't be an issue.

But yeah, even playing it online doesn't sound ban-able to me.

Ta very much.

Play offline. It's not like you're going to get Achievements or anything.

I don't think they'll be an issue. It'll be common knowledge soon enough anyway, and I'm uncertain how they'd check.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Haha, that isn't the case for MW2 , that game is hacked to oblivion.

I played it signed in to live... I really doubt they would start swinging the banhammer over playing a demo early. I've played several retail games early and they don't ban for that.
