I consider Cobain to be somewhere between Pol Pot and Stalin in terms of negative effect on mankind, but his death led to the formation of the Foo Fighters which is a great band. Nirvana was holding Dave Grohl back from greatness.

Positives of the 90's:
- Good shows such as Boy Meets World, Saved By the Bell, Disney's Recess, etc.
- Some good music such as Linkin Park, Blues Traveler, and Pearl Jam and of course the formation of Rise Against (although they didn't produce stuff till the 2000's)
- We could actually do things back in the 90's in school and whatnot, now kids are overprotected and are being prevented from building any character. The generation of kids from the 2000's are going to be complete pussies who can't stand up for themselves and expect everything to be handed to them.
- Although we didn't have online gaming, single player and splitscreen games were better back then for the most part.

Negatives of the 90's
- Horrid music like Nirvana, Britney Spears, Madonna, boy bands, etc.
