Take it easy, its just a troll thread for lulz.

Well the lulz worked hahahah

would have been better if it showed the evolution over the same time period, you know the one where all the other phones started looking more and more like the iPhone...

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

The iPhone part kind of made it a failed joke. Should've started from the beginning and then take out the 4S and 3GS as they are, obviously, only software improvements. (Plus Camera improvements.)

What? No they aren't.

3G to 3GS upgrades:
-32GB version available
-ARM Cortex A8 (from ARM 1176JZ(F)-S - 188MHz upgrade
-New GPU (47MHz faster)
-128MB more DRAM
-Faster 3G connection
-Voice control
-Magnetometer
-3.0 MP camera (from 2.0)

4 to 4S upgrades:
-64GB version available
-1GHz A4 to 1GHz Dual-core A5
-New GPU
-Faster connection
-Siri
-8.0MP camera (from 5.0)

Essentially, both times, it was massive specs upgrades. Both times they got better CPUs and GPUs, as well as double the originally available storage.

Crucify him!!!

:P

My only problem with it is that "innovation" doesn't mean "changing the shape". Very few of the phones shown in those sequences are innovative - most of them are merely refinements.

Oh, and Blackberries were never mainstream. :P

Yeah... Software upgrades. Specs = Software, correct?

To be fair, blackberry doesn't look like much changed.
