Tempted to vote for Soleron, the day is just dragging on, with practically nothing occurring, might as well kill the lurkers. How many scum you guys think we're dealing with here? 3? 4?

Killing lurkers is not going to give us any information - that's what we need the most.

HoS - NotStan for suggesting this.

This is a game where we don't necessarily get info from lynches, killing lurkers who have no connections to anybody will leave the town in the same place as it was the day before.

That's a good point. But also killing the non-lurkers will make the place even quieter than the day before, unless the lurkers start talking. It is already pretty quiet here.

This is literally one of the quietest games I've played, usually when I get up there about 100 posts to sift through, today there were something like 12.

I was wondering about that. I had perviously clicked to open one of the mafia games on the site, just to see what it was and saw a ton of post. So I just closed it because I couldn't be bothered. The next day, I think I saw that there were an additional 200+ posts.

Holy crap, am I coaching everybody this game?

Shit, call me coach, then!

I'd like you to explain that, NotStan.

Derp, I cba to sift all the way back. But you are Sir Coach this game it appears, by that I mean you take someones theory, poke holes in it and strip it off its sense but dont really seem to suspect the person of being scum and coming up with elaborate theories. I don't know, it's a weird feeling I got when I was reading your responses yesterday. I mean it's all good helping people when they trip up on a theory, but you seem to do quite often, maybe it's just your play style. Again, I haven't really played with that many people here, so the playstyles are alien to me. Although it's been stated that there is no correlation between the previous games and this game, y'know, some people have certain posting patterns that help identify them whether they are playing safe or not. And by the posts you seemed to have favoured Pezus, so there is some sort of connection there, whether it's scummy or not is yet to be seen.

I still scratch my head at this connection.

Anyways, I've recall saying this yesterday (in-game), and that is that pezuz's posts had been "safe." They don't go much into hunting, and are usually on the more light-hearted side. I can't say I was never suspicious of him.

If my posts too him are more jokeful, then it's probably in return to his own smiley faces. I'm tend to reflect moods. (It's why I was annoyed by Noctis - he was acting negatively with the while "ignored" bit)

It probably also didn't help that he called you Cornman. What else do you think about Pezuz?

Again, let's not focus on the past directly. After all, it's a new game altogether, kind of gutted I missed the GoT round! As I love GoT.

@It's possible, masons are crafty bastards, I wouldn't rule it out completely.

Well Soleron still hasn't posted in this thread since the day started I don't think. Either way, he's either lurking or not paying attention to the game.. Both of which make me scratch my head as to why he signed up in the first place! If anything his absence draws attention towards him more than anything for me.

@Spurge, you seem to reminiscent of the old games an awful lot!

Notstan roundup:
Acknowledges linkz perennial not reading PM
Votes noctis. Says it's due to noc's vote, and not being able to back it up.
Responds to noc, reiterates that noc hasn't responded in any serious way, nor acknowledged stans questions.
HoS' me, mentions reasoning that third party could be likely, but strategically makes no sense. That being said, the likely results could favor me equally.
Says noc hasn't contributed a thing of value
Mentions weird that wonk claimed without pressure.
Wary of myself, but doesn't understand why others say it's typical behavior.
Summarizes his suspicions. Says linkz is dodgy, thinks I'm a good candidate due to my trolling. Sticks with Noc.
Mentions that noc is simply the ebst candidate due to lack of discussion.
Makes an odd comment "what's worse, (FF's) role seems to be hidden" 1
Might as well vote for the lurker soleron
Tells pezus what he thinks of me. Thinks risking the entire town's roles to catch scum is weird. 2
Mentions that j0 has been coaching 3

Verdict: Pending. Aside from the followup posts, appears town. Note: All followup question content appeared starting day 2. Nothing big day 1.
Follow-ups:
1. Why did you say "FF's flip seems to be hidden"? Are you completely unaware of the janitor discussion? Hmmm, I would think that mafia with a few head between them would have discussed any possible janitor thoroughly, so that could rule you out. However, I would think that all townies also at least understood what was going on. So the question is, are you pretending not to be aware or are you actually unaware?

2. You said that I risked townies losing their roles for a trap. Why did you not consider that I already lost townies their roles by claiming? You also mentioned that I was a possible third party. Why did you not consider me to have lost the town its roles? You didn't even acknowledge that if I was mafia I'd be losing the mafia their roles. Why is it that you neither mentioned me losing mafia roles nor town roles on my own merit, and consider me third party. Why does it seem like you KNOW I'm not mafia?

3. "Coaching" in game, is something that happens by either town or mafia, you should know that. Last game, there was literally tons of coaching by the town towards the mafia. Mafia were constantly trying to lynch confirmed townies and town would just slap them on the wrist and say "no, it would be better if we did X instead".

Wonk ROundup:
First post nothing special
"so mr crazy, what are your thoughts on what prof did? instead of what he didn't do?" What does the second part mean wonk? 1
"What you see as clearly trolling stefl I see as him up to no good. After he had his power removed, he still voted against the rule, he also go mad at stefl for mentioning trolling." 2
"If he was a mafia goon..."3
Votes FF for being jokey
Linkz says I might've been mafia, and Wonk mentions that he just thought of something, acknowledging mafia team this time, and introduces the third party idea.
Agrees with Linkz that spurge's accusations are baseless.
Lists spurge's contradictions
Offers advice to spurge http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4661873
Talks more about me being third party
Discussion about the rule breaking.
Says "linkz if you turn up scum, I will have figured it out by something you did today, and you're going to look foolish" 4
Seems to drop the argument.
Talks about merits of rule enforcement
Switches to Linkz since FF is likely not going to be voted
Claims
Talks about why he claimed.
Discusses noc's potential roles.
Day 2
Won't be able to keep up with roles
Not much else

Before re-reading, I'd forgotten that the flip was announced. This instantly tells me he's town, which makes me look back on the notstan read, where he didn't consider me mafia either as possibly not having much merit in itself where I was once very suspicious of it. Doesn't tell me notstan is completely cleared, but does tell me that it's possible notstan is simply not paying a ton of attention, coinciding with his weird comments about FF not flipping.

I had some followup questions, but I think you're pretty much cleared so they don't matter lol.

@ last paragraph from theprof

You are right, we did go after the wrong people. The ones that were right in our face, such as Hatmoza.

VOTE: the prof

Good, I expect you to play like this in the future. No more slapping wrists.
