Online retailer GameStop has kicked off an aggressive hardware sale.

The headline offer is a discounted PlayStation Vita. The Wi-Fi model is available for just £189.97 – that’s £30 cheaper than it is currently priced on some competitor’s websites.

The 3G version is also on sale at £229.97.

Also on the chopping block in Xbox 360. The 4GB console can be had for just £134.97. The 4GB + Kinect white console bundle has been reduced to £229.97.

Lastly there’s the 3DS. The Ice White handheld complete with Mario 3D Land can now be had for £154.97. A Pink SKU bundled with Nintendogs and Cats is just £149.97.

Not to bad price wise.

I hope this boost Vita sales significantly. 360 sales, too. My two preferred systems are being clearly outsold by their competitors!

Admitting preferring the 360 can be seen as a treasonous act around these parts.

If it gets a price cut to like 199 USD, I will go crazy. How can I choose between a 3ds xl, a 199 USD Vita, and a 299 USD wiiu? TOO MANY OPTIONS!!!

The US needs to follow.

Thats some damn good deals right there. Too bad its just for the UK.

Cheaper hardware wont hurt, but what is really hurting the Vita in my opinion is lack of must have software schedule.

Resistance Burning Skies failed (sales & reviews) and so did Gravity Rush (sales)

Price cut? Sounds more like this just a sale by one retailer.
If the drop the price permanently well then that's a cut.

Even in Aus. some places have already cut 3DS to $199AUD or slightly less ($180ish). 3DS XL will be $250AUD.
