Can we add suggestions?

Are the bolded supposed to be what you agree with?

If so, that Sony one is pathetic.

Yes the rules clearly state that you bold what you agree with. The Sony one is a J-O-K-E. Surely you can take a joke espcially when it was prepared by the author of this thread.

"No more Mario, Zelda, etc. I know I don't have to play them, but I just don't want them on the system at all."

so you dont want the best games to be on your console?.....weird

I barely play them anymore to tell you the truth, but as respect to the newer generation of gamers and children they should stay.

Well, I was really disappointed with Nintendo this gen. I'm not a fan the motion controller, and I really didn't like a lot of the titles out. I really tried to give them a lot of tries, yet I'd never finish their games..... and I'd eventually resort to playing my 360 again. I'd have to agree with "needs a traditional controller." I liked the Gamecube more!

Also, I'd want all the mainstream Final Fantasies on Nintendo consoles, not games like Fables or CC.

I think it already exists.  Unless you meant something else.

Needs a platformer that can rival LittleBigPlanet. Also a kart racer that can rival Modnation Racers & the upcoming LBP Karting.

YOu guys are really sucking at the whole "just let people say what they think and don't call them out for it" idea in the OP.

Oh yeah.

Hush NinPie, Huuuussssshhhh.

You mean like Rayman?  Do you mean a 3D platformer?  Since you seem to hate Nintendo first parties, it seems like mentioning Mario, Zelda, and Metroid would be pointless.  I actually don't see what's wrongwith Metroid as it doesn't seem to be "kiddy" to me, and it is adequetly challenging.  Well, at least the last ones I played were.   All though to say you hate Nintendo's first parties seems to conflict your signature.  I'm confused about what you're asking for.

I kind of feel like you don't want the Nintendo first party titles because of the image it will receive as well as the people who play it.

Also, the console must be sold at a loss for the first two years.

Also, it needs some excellent niche titles. Requirements: 1.) It must sell less than 1m. 2.) it must have a metascore of at least 97

I mean 2D platformers. If Nintendo puts out a platformer that could rival LittleBigplanet psp, then we'll talk. Mario Zelda & Metroid have been used for the past 20 years, so they automatically don't count. I'm talking new ips here.

Oh, I see.  You personally want to see something new (such as new character or something).  I heard Nintendo has been working on some, so maybe we'll see some of that.

After reading the OP I was sure this thread was destined for a ton of back and forth hate. I'm pleasantly surprised the majority of you have choosen to ignore the structure this question attempted to impose on the conversation. The OP, while perhaps unintentionally, is extremely short sighted and aimed to insight conflict. Almost all imposed answers are guided towards one absurd topic, Nintendo being too kiddy/needing mature games/needs to appal to an older crowd. All of those are just one issue of discussion but the OP is treating it like the overall theme as if as if the discussion points were decided as a fact in some previous meeting. The same can be said over the topic of third party support, just one issue.

The repetition in the OP list is so choking to potential conversation that it seems a satire of an attempt for actual debate only to dissolve any remaining hopeful thinking for this thread thanks to the last two list entries. I am pleasantly surprised by the resolve of this community to ignore all but the pertinent question aside from a few mentions of a listed topic for sake of actual relevance. Might I add it thoroughly disappointed the OP.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(
