A price point and release date would be a start, enough with all the bullshit

If it were actually made by sony. :)
Also, quit rehashing old series. Mario has had too many games. Give him and poor Link a rest for awhile. How about release a Luigi game and star wars game at launch. Make you console cater to 3rd party devs and don't provide too much competition so they can flourish on the platform too.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon comes out this year.

I'm not sure they could do much to get me to buy their system. Maybe new interesting IP's. after the last two Zelda games, its just not going to do it for me any more, and i could live my life with out ever playing another Mario game again, after all, I've been playing them for the last 25 years. Nintendo has lost their appeal to me being an older gamer, in the same way Disney has, I wont go see a Disney movie, but if i had kids i would. Just in the same way, if i had kids I'd play another Mario with them. I want more games with Adult themes. And no not just gun's and action. Real adult situations. Part of the reason Why Cathrine was my game of the year last year, it spoke to me. So until Nintendo starts speaking to me, they've lost me. And nothing coming from them seems to changing their out look. They are becoming dinosaurs, keeping to their same old, same old. 3rd party isn't going to help them much, after all we already have that with better online services. Why do we need a wii U? Answer, we don't.

New franchises. Yes, we all love the old ones, but I don't buy consoles purely for my love of old franchises. I like to see knew ideas, characters, concepts. IMO, Wii Sports, Play, Fit, Brain Age, ect, are all things I can get a better experience from in their real life counter parts. Games to me need to deliver either an experience, I can not afford, am not capable of, or are completely new, and not of this earth. Nintendo just keeps rehashing. If Disney was still riding Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto, they would be stale too.

Note: I actually do buy all Nintendo consoles. Just thought I would point out why I wouldn't if I was on a tight budget, or not a nerd.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

KBG29 on PSN&XBL

I'd like to see Metroid Prime make it to Wii-U, Starfox and Kid Icarus too please, I'm not sure what else, Pikmen looks pretty interesting so seeing that on the Wii-U is nice. I guess a new IP with more realism and 3rd party games with a reason to get the Wii-U version over the PS3 and 360 versions.

A really huge point about the Wii U for me aside from the games I know will come is my Wii games looking like shit on my HDTV. Games like Mario Galaxy, Monster Hunter 3 , and Skyward Sword were horribly distorted on my TV so I could not even enjoy games for their art style. Like the ps3 with FF7 (Not the best looking game in the world) looked right on my hdtv. So if the Wii U can fix that problem with games on my HDTV I can go back and play those games over and that is a big selling point for me.

since im a single console owner they need to have enough games that i want to play without having to look at the other platforms with jalousy for their games... and releasing 50 mario titles per platform doesn't help. it just gets monotonous and all the more frustrating.

that was the reason i exchanged my wii for a ps4 and why im not gonna buy a wiiu

You will find most kids also play games like cod and gta, so in theory these games also appeal to kids to not just Mario, so kind of throws the kiddie argument out of the window lmao I'm grown up enough not to let other people influence and affect my decisions in what I play, gaming is meant to be fun and for entertainment!!!

Why do people always bring up Nintendo being childish and for kids? Mario & Zelda games are far more mature gameplay wise than COD, Uncharted & Gears etc just because it lacks guns and has gameplay doesn't make it childish. And also what difference does it make if its rated M or not?

Yeah, sure. Zelda and Metroid are Nintendo's more cerebral titles which prepared me for the types of games I am playing today. Metroid prepared me for Contra and the like. Zelda prepared me for sky view games like Secret of Mana or Final Fantasy Adventure on the Gameboy.  Super Mario prepared me for Earth Worm Jim, and helped me get into more action packed platform action/ adventures like Donkey Kong, Aladdin, Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, Castlevania, etc.  Nintendo set the bar for me as a start up gamer. Zelda, Metroid and Donkey Kong challenged me, but Donkey Kongs era died with SNES only to be reborn, but I never got to play the remake. Zeldas and Metroids have been pretty solid since the N64 all the way up to now. The games aren't "childish" but they are made to welcome children more than most else.

Nintendo uses bold and bright colors, very little blending and cartoon-like characters. This is like blood in the water for children because they respond to it easily, much like Disney or Nickelodeon. Adults can like it but thats optional, the primary person to impress is the child. Women are an added bonus and so are fathers if they are still interested. You get the children you've expanded the market and can control it on a generational level. Take it as you will....most kids grow up loving disney and then graduate to MGM or Universal some stick around with disney and accept the world for the truth of variety in color (literal and a metaphor).

Honestly, nothing right now. They have to shock me. They say everything to make me feel they still don't care about the hardcore gamer, so I don't care about them at all. HD devs aren't going to only make games for the WiiU, but once the next real next-generation starts with the PS4, and X720... Then they will abandon the WiiU because it will just be... Too slow, lets face it. WiiU is a this gen console.
