Super Mario World was subtitled Super Mario Bros. 4 in Japan...
Yoshi's Island was subtitled Super Mario World 2...
And Super Mario Advance 3 was subtitled Yoshi's Island...
So shouldn't it have been Super Mario Advance 3: Super Mario Bros. 4-2: Yoshi's Island?
Or would it be Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Bros. 4-2: Super Mairo Advance 3
Then the DS sequel should have been Yoshi's Island 2 (DS) (Super Mario Bros 4-2-2 (Super Mario World 2-2))(Super Mario Advance 3-2)

I actually did wonder why these games were named like that. I own two of them (Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3) even though they are Super Maio Advance 1 and Super Mario Advance 4. It's kind of dumb.
Super Mario Bros. 3 isn't even done like the original game. There are slight things that they changed for no good reason and it makes me mad. Oh well, it's still fun, and I still play it.

@___@ Much confusion... Why didn't they just keep the original titles with "advance" added? Much more simple than a bunch of numbers everywhere!
Example: Yoshi's Island Advance
Super Mario World Advance
Super Mario Bros 3 Advance
But what is done is done... But anyways, not that I care much about the GBA version I prefer the originals!
