Forums - Nintendo - The Super Mario Advance Title Flaws!

I hate it when you post your thoughts on something and someone comes in to bash your thread just because they don't care about it.

I posted a thread recently that took over 2 hours to complete and half the users that posted just whinned and bitched and through comments like 'This thread fails' etc.

Okay... Seriously... How does a simple, series of titles, get so messed up? Look at this mess!

Super Mario Advance
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Advance 3

 You're adding to the confusion!

This has to be one of the strangest threads I've ever seen.

The reason that the first Super Mario Advance wasn't a remake of the original Super Mario Bros. was that such a game already existed as Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for the GBC, as you mentioned.

Also, how could Mario World and Yoshi's Island be part of the Classic NES series when they weren't even NES games? ??? Most of the classic NES games only saw release in Japan, anyway.

Seriously, we got four good portable remakes of classic Mario games, why complain? You're really grasping at straws here, to say the least.

I do dislike Super Mario 64 DS, but only due to the lack of proper controls for the game. Other than that, it was well-done.

Hey, the Angry Video Game Nerd, bashed many series of titles, himself, so it is not strange. No, I am not trying to copy him.

True, it existed as "Super Mario Bros. Deluxe," which was "Super Mario Bros.," and the real "Super Mario Bros. 2" in one game. However, "Super Mario Bros., and the real Super Mario Bros. 2, made it to the Gameboy Advance, deliberately missing the "Super Mario Advance" series, to join the "NES Classic Series," so therefore, your "theory" is flawed.

Yes, how could Super Mario World, and Super Mario World 2, become a part of the Classic NES Series? I edited that out. But hey, where is "Classic NES Series: Super Mario Bros. 3?" Even the Mario "Classic NES Series," is missing one Mario game. Instead of having two, incomplete series, they could have made one, complete one. The Classic NES Series should not be on the Gameboy Advance either, for the Gameboy Advance is stronger than the Super Nintendo, and does not need games, with NES graphics, on it. These Classic NES Series should have come out for the original Gameboy, or Gameboy Color.

Yes, we got four, good remakes... But we could have had five... Or even six, if the real Super Mario Bros. 2, was also added to the series, if the fake one stayed as well...

As for Super Mario 64 DS, the game is awesome... I did not point it out, because of how bad it is... It's not even bad... It's good... I pointed it out because of its awkward title... It could have been, "Super Mario Advance 6: Super Mario 64," and simplified to "Super Mario Advance 6," but then again, come to think of it, it would be odd to have "Advance" in the title, since it is out for the DS, so I guess its current name is good the way it is... It could have been "Super Mario DS: Super Mario 64," simplified to "Super Mario DS"... That may have been better...

Nice, and clean, instead of the bull shit that it really is! Now where does Super Mario 64 DS fit in all of this?

Yes, it would have been much better like that. But who cares since they still sold a lot of copies and no one seemed to mind much.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

Partially incorrect. Pointless? Yes. Stupid? No.

Well, I guess that all depends on your definition of stupid. Judging from the posts I've seen from you in general, you have a very, very forgiving definition.
