Depending on what iPod you have, your choice of games could expand greatly. The thing is, the 3rd generation iTouches are not the same, even after you disregard the flash memory capacity. The 8 GB model has the same processor from the 2nd generation or iTouches. The 32GB and 64GB models have the 3rd generation processor, so it can run 3D games more smoothly, and can be compatible with newer games. Games like Dead Space (graphics-wise) would not be able to run on the 8GB model, but can run on the 32 and 64 GB models. Keep in mind this only applies for the 3rd generation of iPod Touch. The 4th generation all have the same processors.

Anyway, the App Store is full of surprises, and great games going free for a short period of time is very common. Don't be surprised if you purchase a game soon before it goes on sale, or even becomes free for a day.

I actually might have the 4th Gen Touch after all. Not quite sure, but it seems like they introduced the front camera with that version and I have a front camera on mine. However, I have a 16GB iPod Touch, but the 4th Gen only seems to have 8, 32 and 64??

How do I follow which games are on sale and such?

Yes, the 4th gen has a camera. it's also got the Retina Display, which previous iPod Touches do not have.

There are several free apps you can download that track sales, discounts, and free promotions. The one I use is called Appsmart. You can put games on your wish list, and if the game goes on sale, the app will notify you (assuming you have Notifications turned on for your desired app tracker app in the Notification Center. If you desire something more simple, IGN.com has a daily article call the App Store Update which highlights all the important game debuts, updates, sales, and promotions that are worth your attention. I use it very often.

WHEN DA FUQ IS GAME DEV STORY 2 COMING OUT? I WOULD PAY TEN FUCKING POUNDS FOR DAT CRACK

I know right, I played through the demo like 15 times lulz.

It's like CIV. You'll play it constantly for days, then you'll get bored and leave it for a couple weeks to months, and then go back and play it and be addicted again for days.

When you find out, tell me.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Game Dev Story is awesome. If you like it you should get Pocket League Story, a soccer game that is very similar. I'm not really a fan of soccer but that game is awesome as well.

You should get PocketPlanes! It kind of sounds similar to Game Dev Story. (A Sim sort of game.)

Check it out!

Instagram is free and I have it. You don't? I think it's pretty cool because it makes up for the crappy camera my iPod has

I recently discovered the Game Dev Story developers made a new game that is called Mega Mall Story and supposedly is great!

So what I have on my Wish List right now:

Doodle Jump (0.99)
Bridge Constructor (1.99)
Beat Sneak Bandit (2.99) - read the gamrReview of this one and it looks cool
Groove Coaster (2.99)
Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery (2.99) - already have this for PC though
Gesundheit (1.99)
Mega Mall Story (3.99) - out of my budget
Cut the Rope: Experiments (0.99)
Peggle (0.99)

O_O........ uh......................

Get Doodle Jump, Bridge Constructor, and Peggle. I don't know about the others and that other Cut the Rope one is basically... the original Cut The Rope.

Why did you bold that? >_>

I only have $3.66 atm, which should be enough for one 1.99 game and one 0.99 game, no? How high is the tax that is added afterwards?

Yeah, but I haven't got Cut the Rope . The demo is awesome

They have demos? O_o

I bolded... that's all... moving along...

I don't know. I use my Mommy's Debit Card so yeahhhh....

It's amazing when we complain about a $4 game being too expensive. lol. I do the same thing with even $.99 games.

Zenonia 4 and Baseball Superstars 2012. Both are awesome and BS2 has RPG elements to it. Better yet both are FREE and both support GameCenter Achievements if you're into that stuff.

Other than that I would suggest you check out

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
