Tonight I'll update the thread a little bit with things from ND.
But since we have now Layton vs Ace Attorney in it's final stage of development and a new main series Professor Layton, 2013 will have them both!
So that means, PL vs AA will come pretty early in the year to avoid bumping with the other. And that can means a translation for the same year (happened with the first professor layton game in 2008)
Hmm, judging byt the video.. I say 100k lifetime. This one's hard... it's been a long time since the last one. That wait can mean either less sales (lost popularity) or more sales (more expectation). So I'll say it'll stay the same (100 k).
UPDATE 2
Rhythm Hunter Harmo Knight trailer/demo
We won't know how it sells, but I hope it's a lot. Look lovely. The Pokémon stage and the boss look great
UPDATE 3
Art Academy Commercials
FIrst one did great (330k)
But just like some Touch Generation games, it's a boat that already sailed. Maybe some 180k is my guess. Probably won't pass that.
UPDATE 4:
GIRLS MODE Trailer + Boxart
Hmm, like above. Half the first + 50 k for the bundle with the Pink 3DS LL. So that gives a 500k Lifetime at most. Not too shabby if happens.
UPDATE 5:
Inazuma Eleven 1 2 3 Trailer
This will sell well, 130k total, imo. -1 sale... mine... :(
Animal Crossing: Jump Out was dated for Japan on today’s Nintendo Direct. The game will be available on November 8. Pricing is set at 4,800 yen.
Another hard one. Definitely won't make the "original" sales - that was a one in a life time phenomenon. But it'll do pretty well, and it will atract lots of people to the system. No mario (at least no 2D Mario or Monster Hunter... this one will be the star of the holidays. I don't even know how to guess, TBH.
UPDATE 7:
Bravely Default new footage:
250 lifetime. There! it's "predecessor" did 200k. This one is more hope than guess... and more hope... to see it today on COMG
UPDATE 8:
Tomodachi Collection 2
Here's one that's going to be super popular. I think they changed enough and it'll be a hit for next year. Wait and see. It still amazes me that the first one sold 3.4 million copies... with a first week of 100k. Man, the DS was just god for legs. 1 million for this one and it's already a money machine
This one's a surprise, but a very pleasant one. 2013 is slowing moving from a dry year to one really powerful one for the 3DS. So far we have Monster Hunter 4, Luigi's Mansion, Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney (gameplay video coming soon, it's amazing, wait and see), Shin Megami Tensei 4, Tomodachi Collection 2 and now... new Layton. And that's all pre-TGS. Pretty respectful. Add Kirby and a tad of Zelda then finally sprinkle with a Dragon Quest spin-off and a spoon of Final Fantasy Remake and there... the cake is ready
UPDATE 10
Paper Mario new trailer and... NAME
I'll say this... best selling Paper Mario ever. First one did 505k, the second one 425k and third 398k. Easy as pie for the "new" Paper Mario Super Seal
UPDATE 11
Shovelware that might sell
Hmm... I don't really wan't to guess. Both look bad, but maybe will do well. AKB will not be a PSP AKB (the "pervert" version), but I think will do well... how much, no idea.
UPDATE 12
Good games that might sell
TBH I don't think EX Troopers will sell well. If it does, it'll be on PS3. But who knows... it looks good, imo. Character design is amazing.
Now, Project X-zone... I expect great things from it. 250k is my minimum. Maybe too high but the game is looking like it could get there. After all, it's the biggest videogame crossover ever. Bad news is that the first one did only 130k. But this one looks so much better and has a end of the year release date - first one came on may... well... let's see. That package alone will atract people. And Monolith Soft is now Nintendo's, so they must have learned a thing or two about selling games in japan.
6 3DS Games, 1 iOS game that is a spin-off to a 3DS game (LB) and one game that will definitely come to the 3DS (LBXW).
Level 5 currently loves the 3DS - there's even Guild 02 not listed here.
So those "coming soon" games have a pretty good chance of coming to the 3DS too. Maybe Ni No Kuni??
Anyway, next time I'll update with the new video from Layton vs Ace Attorney... believe me, it looks 30 times better than all previous games from both series.
Hmm, I thought this game would do well, but maybe I'm wrong. Let's see, it entered comg market just now, 7 days from release. Good news for the 3DS version is that the PSP version hasn't (map on the second screen for this type of game sure helps that observation). I'll go with 46k first week. Probably not much legs, so 70 LTD. Some of these heroes were from my childhood (Black Kamen Rider and Kamen Rider RX) so I hope for the best. And the game is looking fine... like a light Shin Megami Tensei.

Screens for Denpa NIngen RPG 2
Looks very cool, but we won't know how it sells (first one must had made well, since they greenlighted a sequel). Looks lovely, I can see this being translated to be honest. But... I can see it not being too...
One of the worst 3DS sellers ever (5k LTD)... and XSEED is bringing it. All hail them. Going to sell 5 in the west too (not 5k... 5), but it doesn't matter, my hat goes off to those guys.
One of the unnanounced games from level 5 is probably Youkai Watch... it makes sense, because the game was announced, but not fully (nobody knows where it's going, could be PS3 (probably) or wii U, or vita or even 360... 3DS only a downgraded a bit version, but it's hard. But from a business point of view it makes sense... since ni no kuni on ps3 flopped since them. So maybe they're using this time (game has being quiet for a long time) to change it to portables, either 3DS or vita.
One thing's for sure, it'll give Ni No Kuni a run for his money on graphics.
Now the other game... could be Guild 02... but, why?
The game is already announced and the first one kinda flopped (24k) making this new one not worthy of a surprise announcement at TGS. Better chances is that this game has been put to sleep, honestly.
So all this means, at least one completely new game from level 5. I bet 5 dollars it's on 3DS.
Augen said: Great updates, more Layton? Yes please!
Thanks man.

That is a bold claim, as I am a fan of both series/characters.
