Those jokes were based on famous video game company clichés. It shouldn't be that hard to make them actually funny.

Perhaps that was the problem then, that they were originally rendered. By clichés I meant that these companies are surrounded by these... these... myths and perceptions (I'm unable to find the right word here), that makes up for excellent sarcasm material.
