I hope they don't take over Tecmo, only because Gust would be in that deal as well and I'd hate to see them forced to change up what's been working so well for them.

co-ownership in Fatal Frame will be meaningful if Nintendo actually starts caring enough about the franchise to bring it to the West. Otherwise it really doesn't matter how much they own of it.

So the atelier series switches to Nintendo exclusivity? I don't see the issue, there, unless NoA stonewalls them.

Because I'd rather play them on Playstation.  Sure there are some logical points like that Gust has gotten better and better at working with the playstation so it'd be unfortunate to have them start from scratch though you could argue they'll do that anyway for PS4 eventually, or that seeing one of my favorite small third party developer success stories become first party in any fashion would be unfortunate or like you said NoA are dicks and I don't think Atelier games usually sell well enough for them to change their tune or that if they were bought by Nintendo NISA would lose one of their most most scucessful localization franchises which would be sad because I love NISA, but really I like playing their games on Playstation and don't want to see Nintendo buy them.

Good fit for Wii U...I don't think this has anything to do with Nintendo purchasing Tecmo-Koei, though. Although if they did, if would be huge..... in Japan. I think that's the region Wii U is poised to do best in anyway, if Nintendo really wants to make a splash they would buy out some western developers,

Sounds as if Nintendo is going after the core after all ;)

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Dont' forget guys Fatal Frame/Project Zero has been exclusive to Nintendo this whole generation. There's been two FF/PZ games released on Wii (and now one on 3DS) but so far NoA is only bringing the 3DS version to our shores.

They should buy sega. they're in bad shape.... now's the time. Imagine how epic that would be.

Two once rivals fighting the invading empire. Just like a movie script

Imagine how expensive that would be. Sega's studios are worthless. Sega's IPs are extremely valuable -- think of how much Sonic would cost alone. Imagine how much it would cost Nintendo to buy Sonic from Sega. I don't believe any single company will buy Sega -- at most, its IPs will be divided up between the various publishers.

Buy everything minus sonic. problem solved.

I'm just kidding, I know Sega's market cap is 4 billion or something.

Just remembered that Pokemon Conquest was developed by Tecmo-Koei as well, they sure are close with Nintendo as of late

DYNASTY WARRIORS now a Wii U exclusive if Nintendo starts taking over for all Techmo Koei publishing. Does this mean Ninja Gaiden will be the only Techmo Koei game that comes to the US from here on out?

Nintendo buying exclusives.
