Well, only if they'd let me play using the Wiimote-nunchuk combo. Infinitely superior to dual analog for shooters.

Until your arm falls off from having to constantly aim the Wiimote at the screen and move it all around, that is.

That only happens when you handle the controller like a complete retard. The correct way is to hold the controller exactly the same as a traditional controller: with your elbows resting on your lap.

Isn't ideal for every set up. For me, my TV wall mounted (partially due to my poor placement), I'm essentially required to stand in order to play any Wii title.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Exactly. Only haters who have never treid it on Wii will come up with lame excuses. Resting it on your lap is no more tiring then dual analoges.

Rememebr back in N64 days, people who where not all up there in their head help the control stick with their index thinger and thumb.

Anyway back on topic. I think this who argument is MOOT because everyone will have the same disadvantage if the map is on the second screen. In anycase you forget that most the WiiU players are acustome to DS, they are use to having a quick glare down and back between screens.

It is clear that the bashing is coming from HD users who will take any opportunity to bash Nintendo. If you have enough friends on the Wii U version you will buy it simple. I got COD on PS3 and 360 and Wii to play with my different circle of friends on each platform. Obiouvlsy I baught two versions a bit later when price discount come.

How can it be the preferred platform if they haven't even announced the game for it less than 5 months before it comes out?!

LOL, fail!

If you read the thread rather then the title, you would clearly knwo the OP is baiting.

"The Wii U could become the preferred way to play those games for some of the core gamers."

Noting about preferred platform but rather like the Wii, the motion controls become a preferred way for some gamers to play COD. The WiiU gamepad might suit some people, that is all he said.

Placing your sensorbar below your TV might improve that, but I can imagine that in some cases it's next to impossible to play an FPS on the Wii. In most cases I'd prefer it over dual analogue for speed and immersion.

Thank you for confirming that the majority of Wii owners are complete retards.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Oh agreed. I'm pretty sure the majority of gamers are complete retards. Just check any videogame forum or youtube

My envisioning of this whole thing is that the third party games will work defensively in Wii U's favor, and not offensively, that is to say, something else will rope Wii U into a household, but the fact that it has the multiplats will prevent another system from being bought, and that this will do nothing against the already-installed PS360 but will (if successful) serve to stymy PS4 and Orbis.

Nintendo should be pushing the fact that you can get what is (hopefully) a feature-parity version of the game with the superior Wiimote-n-nunchuk, but of course they won't say that

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

LMAO!! Nintendo call of duty main platform? Ok Now they've lost their mind.

Microsoft wont let that happen.

Microsoft wont have to worry about it. Nintendos PR just dug themselves a nice grave on this one. Wrong crowd.
