I want the PS4 and 720, but im not sick of this gen. It has lost some of the excitement it once had but the games play just as good.

I didn't care until I got my 3D tv at christmas. The best looking games are the least graphic intensive because they can render correctly in 3D. Great games like Uncharted and Killzone however look awful. Heck just the other day I tried Batman and the 3D flat out sucks! I'll have to look into it because in my professional opinion it used a depth map!!! Next generation I expect 3D on consoles to not destroy the graphics.

Nah, I can wait. Sony are putting out really good games, so I dont mind. If a PS4 were to come out today I wouldn't bother getting it because the PS3 still has so much to offer. a few years maybe.

No still some great games on the horizon for the PS3, 2 years sounds about perfect to me.

I am still happy with my PS3 and I can wait for a new console. There are still over 30 games on my to-do-list...Even if the PS4 was launching next week I wouldn't buy it in its first two years because after the launch Games there will certainly be a long software draught because everyone is waiting for the install base to reach a certain level before releasing the big games.

Its the same with the Vita. I am sure that I will buy one but I am still waiting for the software... maybe I will get even an updated version or a price cut just because I could wait long enough. I still have enough PSP games to play.

That is a good aspect of console gaming, buy a ps3 and play it for 7 years. Next gen will be great and all, but I dislike dropping 400 dollars to soon. Games look great now. I could enjoy this gen another 3-4 years easily.

Considering this gen wasn't that exiting to me as most the AAA games had movies litrally built in them when all I really wanted to do is play and not sit there for 30mins watch (damn you MGS4 haha).

I will either love or hate next gen. Will love if the movies decrease and we get back into actual gaming fun. will hate if more cinematics get added and pointless tacket on trophies that add no value to the game/story (happy for well executed milstones, but don't care if I get an extra coloured suit unlocked that does nto impact on the game.
