Forums - Nintendo - Underrated Gamecube games.

Geist (GC from N-Space) is what I am reminded of when I look at Beyond Two Souls (PS3 from Quantic Dream of Heavy Rain fame)
Second Sight (GC/PS2/XBox from Free Radical of TimeSplitters fame)

Good start playing some unique games most GC players missed, now try one or more of the following:

Battalion Wars
Baten Kaitos
Baten Kaitos Origins
Beyond Good & Evil
Eternal Darkness
Fire Emblem - Path of Radiance
Freedom Fighters
Gladius
Gun
Killer 7
Metal Gear Solid - Twin Snakes
P.N. 03
Pikmin
Viewtiful Joe
XIII

I was just about to chime in with those two as they haven't been mentioned much yet (if at all)

Non Nintendo made?
Guardian heroes, Viewtiful Joe I & II, Killer 7, Eternal Darkness, Skies of Arcadia, Baiten Kaitos, Resident evil I remake. Those are the ones that come to mind.

Thumbs up to you, I think I rate it as my third favourite racer after F-Zero X and Mario Kart Wii (in fact in my top 50 games list I made for Smeags thread last Christmas the only other games to beat it were 3 Zelda games, the Endless Ocean games and Timesplitters 2... so WR:BS was 8th)

You'll be lucky to find Chibi Robo for cheaper than it's original RRP I think (I sold my copy at the stupidest time, only got £7 for it... I could probably get £40 on Ebay now) and I wouldn't say it has a lot of replay value so it might not be worth it when you could probably pick up 4 or 5 gems for the same price. It's a good experience though, kinda like a Zelda come Toy Story combo, and probably the most emotional game I have ever played, so if you have the moolah i'd give it a go. (and actually given it's rarity, you could probably sell it for the same price you bought it at)

How are Second Sight and Geist? I was intrigued by both when they were first released, but then they got mediocre reviews so I stayed away from them.

Most people have already listed the big games, so I'll say you gotta get Prince of Persia. Second one was meh but the third was good too.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

This has reminded me just what a good console the Gamecube was. I think I lost my copies of F-Zero GX, Star Fox Assault and WarioWare. I think I'll have to buy new ones. They were awesome.

Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2. Those are great games. After that, SMB went downhill

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash
