The GameCube is the most underrated console ever. Almost any game that people say it's good on the GC would be called awesome in other consoles.

If I could recomend only two games that'd be REmake and F-Zero GX. Ten years later and still there's no better survival horror or (futuristic) racing game.

- Eternal Darkness a million time. If you play the game right, at night, with no other light, volume up, this will be an amazing gaming experience. And you'll become a Lovecraft fan. Cthulhu phtagn !
- Paper Mario : The Thousand Year Door
- Timesplitters 2&3, for the co-op, sp, mp, and challenges
- Killer 7
- Ikaruga
- Baten Kaitos
- Tale of Symphonia
- Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2 (Also SW:RS3 co op, which is basically SWRS2 SP in co op. SW RS3 SP is not really worth it imho...)

- And the best game of the NGC, FZero-GX

Glad to see a bit of Gamecube love as its prob my fave console ive owned. I used to be a bit of a Sega fanboy so the Gamecube was what got me into Nintendo (i was a little late to the party)

Yes, a million times yes. Man I wish I didn't lose my disc for it or I would be playing it now. I just hope they put it on Wii U app store, that's my only wish!

Aint the Dreamcast version better tho? GC version is a port and it scored significantly less on metacritic

I think the PC version was just a technical mess... but not graphically based on the PS2 version... and the Wii version is definately based on the GC version graphically, but it does have the additional stuff the PS2 version had like Assignment Ada.

It's very rare a port will score equal or more than the original even if it has improved features or additional bits, which supposedly the GC version has.

Edit: actually the GC version does (unusually) have a higher metacritic score, so not sure what you are on about.

But don't get Star Fox Adventures without trying it first. I hated that game.

Make sure to pick up Pikmin. Also I heard Tales of Symphonia is very good.
