Never mind third party support. The question is, will Reggie support Nintendo's own console by localizing games that are already in English?

| oniyide said: This is funny, its exactly WHY the "lost" the hardcore is because they were missing Elder Scrolls, COD games that werent even as good the others, or missing. No Battlefield, Street Fighter, Tekken, Batman, GTA, the list goes on and on. |
And he stated why the Wii didn't get those.

See, there's a non-bogus complaint. There is a lot of easy stuff Nintendo can do to please the hardcore that they don't, but so much of it is mis-attributed. Earthbound would have been nice, for one, they were willing to fix the N64 Wave Race for intellectual property problems, but not EarthBound? Or dragging their feet on the SD storage solution.
Some of the British accents in Xenoblade do make me lol, though.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

which is why i stated they are rectifying it for Wii U

Is his body ready for that? |
Nope. His name is Reggie, he's about kicking ass, he's about taking names, and he'll be fucked if he localizes any games.

They won't if PS4/720 greatly surpass Wii U in graphical capabilities, which at the moment is looking very likely. |
How is that looking likely? Did I miss a PS4 tech real or something? Besides, Wii U so far is plenty powerful. If Sony wanted to make theirs even more then it wouldn't be by much.
Nope
the gap is getting smaller each gen
next gen maybe is still decent
but the next one?

Then you are also recognizing that Wii U will indeed be more powerful than PS3. In turn saying that Wii U will be near as powerful as the other next-gen Consoles.
| pezus said: Likely because Wii U is only slightly more powerful than PS3/360 and because of tech rumours. Watch_Dogs, Unreal 4, Star Wars 1313. Do you think Sony and MS would release new consoles that have about the same power as their old ones? |
You are basing your statements off those rumours? Okay.
Ubisoft also said that Wii U could be the console for Watch Dogs.

i would say one of the reasons would be, that sony and microsoft don't want to see the same multi-plat games on wii u. i don't know, but if ps4, nextbox and wii u would get the same multi-plat games, i see many ps3 or 360 owners purchasing a wii u instead of a ps4/nextbox. sure there are people who want to play the next sony exclusives but i see a lot of people who love multi-plat games and would rather play nintendo games or don't care too much if nintendo or sony exclusivves, 80-90% of their games they buy are multi-plats (of the average ps3 owner). and microsoft would maybe lose even more to wii u. i think sony and microsoft can lose a lot of customers if they don't get their machines much more powerful to get the multi-plat games only for nextbox and ps4.
yes, they would still sell consoles but i think it would be a huge win for nintendo to see the other ones with only slightly better consoles. microsoft and sony know that.
