Xbox Live has never been worth it in my opinion. PS Plus on the other hand is a different kind of service and although i've never gotten it personally, my friends speak highly of it.

I'm about to go PS+ style, its too good to pass on it. I hope PS+ comes to Vita fast!

I'm amazed people voted for Live, since Plus gives you so many free games, isn't it just fact at which is better?

Maybe its not about libraries but about wich gives you more bang for the buck?

| BasilZero said: A question. What if you download these games while having PSN+ and stop having PSN+ a few months later? Would you still be able to play them or would you need PSN+ to play them...? |
you continue to have access to the games you got disounted, all free and discounted DLC.
but you lose access to the Free full games you purchased.
so as long as its not a free full game, you keep it. (keep discounted games, content, DLC, keep free DLC and other content)
It's quite funny that the console war has to be about something like this.
The services are not equal, so why compare? It's all about personal usage or experience.
I experienced lots of disconnects on PSN when I used my PS3 (gotta admit, it was like 2010 I think, so may have changed) while I get close to no disconnects on Live. I rather pay 2-3$ a month (actually, there are always 1$ deals, or 1€ in Europe at least) and have this smooth experience than anger over disconnects or not being able to connect.
On Live I never have the feeling it may break down due to lots of people suddenly accessing it (Diablo III for PC is a great example here :P).
When you just compare the "worth" in games, of course PSN is better because you don't pay for online play or some games. But the service is a step behind.
Why argue about something like this? xD
PS+ is a great service, the auto-download stuff and cloud storage is great. The games are simply amazing value though. It depends how you wanna game though, I don't really go out and buy games on launch and am pretty content playing whatever, so it suits me I guess.
It blows my mind people pay on Xbox for what I get for free, but I generally struggle to pay a lot of money for stuff so that's just me being a cheap skate lol.

So people voted for Live because it gives more bang for the buck o.O? |
Seems like there are some people with that opinion.

I have neither. I don't like to download so many games and not feel like I own them, and I don't like to pay for online gaming.
But PS+ definitely has a higher value, no doubt.
At the risk of sounding stupid.
Every time I ask what does Live offer than PSN doesn't, people only mention party chat and "lag free gaming". I still maintain the latter is not a worthy point, and the former is interesting but no one else seems to offer anything else.
So again, I'll ask again, what does Live have (apart from party/cross game chat)?
