Here's my set up (just copied MGS Peace Walker and Final Fantasy Tactics this morning--took these pics yesterday). Not bad, eh?

When Tetris (PSP Minis), Resistance Retribution, Syphon Filter, Metal Gear Solid 1, and Final Fantasy VII become available, I'll be content.
Other games I have on PSP that won't work on Vita, yet:
Xenogears (PS1)
Front Mission (PS1)
Crash Team Racing (PS1)
Grandia (PS1)
Rayman (PS1)
Crash Bandicoot 1-3 (PS1)
Tetris (Minis)
Final Fantasy VII (PS1)
Pursuit Force (PSP)
Mod Nation Racers (PSP)
Well over 300 PSP Digital Comics--but I don't expect them to ever make the transition....but it would certainly be nice!

There's a really good Legend of Zelda theme floating around with a Tri-Force unlock screen image. I had it once but then I started getting pissed because the art was obscured by the Vita menu items. You could google it or I could post it here......when I'm a little less sleepy.

There was a good Gravity Rush theme that someone did when the Vita was released that was three images/pages plus unlock image. If you haven't seen it, they basically took a vertically oriented piece of official game production art and divided it into three. Not a bad way way to do a theme and pretty quick/easy.
Most of the good wallpaper theme images are arranged around where the icons should appear, indicated with circle outlines or desaturated circles so if one were uber OCD, they would design each wallpaper image around the number of icons that page would contain.
my unlock screen is Demon's Souls...I think Euphoria was the one who gave it to me

You just couldn't leave well enough alone, could you?

Well, now that you know my plans to take over the world, I can't let you live. Get in the box. And take your pants off, first.....slowly.
my gripe is the lack of control. I'm not pleased with content manager, i cant use the ps3 to just copy over, i cant use media go (a sony software) to transfer, i cant use sony vegas (another sony software) to transfer my made videos specifically to the vita like i could my pspGo, no bluetooth transferring, sigh. I get its for secure reasons, but the vita is the most isolated device ever, even more than the iphone.
But game wise, its great

| d21lewis said: Okay, the Vita has become my favorite portable console like its father before it. It's getting th ability to play PS1 games, my favorite PSP game of all time (Hot Shots Tennis) just became available for it (though I accidentally hit delete instead of copy when transferring my 80+ hour save to the Vita yesterday), and it finally has games that I'm excited to play (MGS HD, Resistance--not a bad game, btw, and Gravity Rush). I'm happy with the console and with 16 PSP games, 7 Vita games, and more, I think I've gotten my money's worth. And things are only going to get better. So why are you whining like a little bitch, d21lewis? Well, I'll tell you. I have an 8gb Memory Card that came with my Vita and a 32 GB card that I purchased the day before the Vita released. I spent a considerable amount of time organizing my Vita screens. One screen for Vita retail games, one screen for Vita download games, two screens for PSP games, one screen for music, video, and photo apps, one screen for my social stuff (Twitter, Friends, Party, Live Tweet), one screen for Sony stuff (Trophies, PS Store, Remote Play), and a final screen for Settings, Content Manager, Maps, and AT&T). Each screen had special wallpapers that fit the theme, too. Long story short, I took out my 32 GB card and put the 8GB card in so that I could copy some movies onto it. Almost everything went back to normal. WTF, Sony? What's the point of the customization if it all just goes away? I can't use the 8GB card because every time I do, all of my organization will go to waste. I hope Sony fixes this. In the meantime, I have about 10GB left on the 32GB card. I'll just keep the 8GB card on ice for now. |
Yeah, the configuration should be saved on the memcard, and not in the system memory; because if it doesn not find exactly what was before the VITA will just put the aplications everywhere.
