What keeps you going, keeps you from tieing a noose around you neck and ending it all, what pushes you more and more through life and makes you say fuck you to life. What's your secret?

For me I'm just very laid back, I always try something atleast once, I'm open to everything and if a buddy came up to me and ask to go to Vegas for the weekend I'd go if I could afford it. I try not to worry about anything even as stressful as things can get, try to keep your cool and move on, stressing about stuff will only make it worst. 

So what's your key to life?

Dont hold grudges and always let your emotions out, keeping things bottled in is never a wise thing.

Lot's of sex, physics and games.

Not dying.

Just need to find what makes you tick, if you want to be happy, long term.

For me it's technology, and the world of "ideas" - that is philosophy, history, economics. So, I study Computer Science at Uni (with some philosophy thrown in), and spend a lot of my spare time studying the others. The key is to make sure you get the balance between being a hermit and a socialite right. Too far one way, and you become lonely and depressed, too far the other and you become dangerously close to failing in your education/career.

Used to be my love for my subject, Physics, until my university started screwing me over.

Carry yourself like you're already a success. Be confident, shake hands with people, treat people with respect, take pride in your appearance, and speak only when you have something worthwhile to say. And above all else, be honest. If you say you're going to do something, do it. People respect somebody that keeps their word.

Not giving a crap about what other people say / want you to do, especially your own family. Find what makes you happy, when you're happy the people around you will be happier too.
