A friend of mine at work is really enjoying it, for primarily the same reason we enjoyed Bulletstorm: humor.

I can buy into a game for dry sex jokes. I'll probably borrow it off of him instead of buying it, but that never hurt nobody.

Basically, he likes to take some ridiculously obscure game (Deadly Premonition) or one that everyone is leery of (Silent Hill: Book of Memories) and hype the shit out of it. He also likes to downplay (Gravity Rush) or outright trash (Kid Icarus) anything that's been anticipated by too many people for his liking. It's schtick at this point.

Also, he's fat.

Couldn't agree more. EGM was and still is the only video game journalism I would or will ever pay for.
