If they lose money on each console then I will be mad. Sounds like they'd will lose money. We will see how addictjng Nintendoland is.

I don't see how any of that shows they'd lose money.

Nintendo Land is not a $50-60 game. Its like Wii Sports and Wii Play in that its a series of tech games made and then polished to be stand alone.

PS360 are now going to be sold for $200 or less at a profit. So a Wii U with marginally increased specs at $300 for a slight profit sounds reasonable with one gamepad and either a wiimote/nunchuk or pro controller.

Additionally that says 'about $300', which could realistically be up to $320.

I'm betting $279.99

Maybe it'll be $300 with Nintendo Land and $280 without it.

Nintendo will only release one sku of the Wii U; I doubt alternate bundles.

But at a Gamestop or something, if they sell the Wii U used, i believe what you say will happen.

$280 for Wii U but no NintendoLand

As long as no money is lost super CHunk I will be happy.

I'm happy so long as its not $400.

@$300 its a day one.

@301-399 its a questionable purchase right away.

@400 its a wait until it drops.

Making money or not, it only matters what I spend.

$300 is right on the mark. So much for those $400+ rumours.

Seems real enough.

Ive been saying something similiar for quite a bit. $299 is the price I predicted, also more info will be coming closer to October (the little conference nintendo always does in OCt) HEll, they might even attend TGS this year.

Sounds reasonable. If that's the case then it's a sure Day 1 buy.

Sounds like a decent launch price, I never pay more than 3000 NOK for my consoles, regardless. The Wii U will be around 3000 NOK here at launch if 300$ is the base price in NA.

Let's just hope that Nintendo learned a lesson from the Wii and lower their price quicker and more often if the need arises.

300-350
and it should do well this holiday
