Forums - Microsoft - XBLA +500 games milestone has passed :)!

Well for me it is Castle Crashers. Before I hardly care about XBLA gams and if their was an popular game like geometry wars I simply didn't get why people loved it..

But damned that changed with Castle Crashers....spend more than 100 hours with friends on it and I think no other XBLA game close =p.

Anyone ever tried Blazing Birds? It is a very basic game, but it is sooo addictive. I highly recommend it. It is 5 USD anyway.



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Want to know something sad?  That game (according to neogaf) only managed to get around 17k sales.

This is what Jack Tretton told me last week. I always thought XBLA had more games.


I thought Xbox Live had more games too...  To know that there's barely over 500, is kinda a shock..  hard to believe that number is so low.

"It can get you in a lot of trouble, thinking, Turkish.  You shouldn't do so much of it."

When XBLA started off, M$ promised a new game every week. Later on down the line, it jumped to about two per week.

MS need set up something like the PS Blog where small devs can post blogs telling you about games, posting trailers, screens, explaining all about them. Lots of games just fly under the radar.

Same for the sales (non DOTW), so many sales on XBL that have zero advertising anywhere, especially not on the actual console.
